TJHR LEAGUE

League Overview

Tennessee Junior High Rollers is a Saturday morning youth bowling league designed to support bowlers at all experience levels. Our league combines instruction, practice, and game play in a positive environment that encourages learning, confidence, and consistency.

Age Groups & Skill Levels

TJHR serves youth bowlers ages 5–18. Bowlers are grouped in ways that support age-appropriate learning and development, allowing each child to feel comfortable and confident while bowling alongside peers.

Beginners are welcomed and supported, and experienced bowlers are encouraged to continue developing their skills through structured play.

What a Typical League Day Looks Like

Each league session includes warm-up time, guided instruction, and league games. Coaches provide hands-on guidance and encouragement throughout the session, focusing on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and steady improvement.

Coaching & Environment

Our coaches emphasize patience, positivity, and consistency. Bowlers are taught proper techniques while being encouraged to learn at their own pace. The league environment promotes respect, teamwork, and personal responsibility.

Development Track for Grades 6–12

In addition to our youth league structure, TJHR offers a focused development track for middle and high school athletes preparing for competitive school bowling. This structured training emphasizes strong fundamentals, spare systems, lane strategy, and tournament readiness.

Our goal is to help student-athletes enter their school bowling programs confident, prepared, and competition-ready.
