Middle & High School
Athlete Development Program

Tennessee Junior High Rollers provides structured skill development for middle and high school athletes preparing for competitive school bowling and tournament play. Our development model strengthens fundamentals, builds competitive awareness, and prepares student-athletes to contribute immediately to their school teams.

Why This Matters

Many students join school bowling teams with limited experience and little structured practice. TJHR bridges that gap by providing consistent instruction, lane experience, and competitive preparation before and during high school participation.

Our goal is to support—not replace—school programs by helping athletes develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

Development Focus Areas

✔ Approach Mechanics & Footwork
✔ Proper Grip & Release
✔ Spare System Mastery
✔ Lane Play & Targeting Strategy
✔ Understanding Ball Motion
✔ Tournament Preparation
✔ Mental Focus & Competitive Confidence

Competitive Experience

TJHR athletes regularly compete in:

  • Local City Championships

  • Regional Tournaments

  • State-Level Competition

  • Scholarship-Eligible Events (USBC SMART & TNBA)

This competitive exposure helps athletes transition smoothly into school-level bowling.

Coaching & Safety

All TJHR coaches are USBC SafeSport certified and background compliant. We emphasize sportsmanship, discipline, accountability, and respect both on and off the lanes.

Pathway to High School Competition

TJHR serves as a developmental foundation for athletes entering or currently participating in middle and high school bowling programs. Our structure reinforces practice consistency and skill progression throughout the season.
